A good column here by George Schroeder of The Oklahoman.
Schroeder makes several good points, though if he saw my earlier post on the history of teammates running for the Heisman and how the votes break down, he might have a slightly different take.
His point about splitting attention, rather than votes, makes a lot of sense.
I also like how he (unknowingly) gives a nod to Heismandment No. 1 when he writes that no wide receiver has a serious shot at the Heisman.
Nice slap at Mark May, too.
