USA Today Weighs In On Orton

This column by USA Today’s Mike Lopresti is right on the mark.

As I mentioned last week, Orton’s 13-0 TD-to-INT ratio will be his eye-popping stat heading into Notre Dame.

Lopresti is also dead-on when he writes: “There is no better place to truly launch a candidacy than Notre Dame. If he guns down the 3-1 Irish next Saturday, he becomes a contender on Sunday.”
