The Round Up

Not a whole lot of Heisman hoopla about now. It appears that things are in a holding pattern until Saturday, when USC takes on Notre Dame in Matt Leinart’s showcase game.

The Daily Oklahoman says that Jason White should win the Heisman again. I’m sure all you Sooners out there will immediately dismiss the bias in her article.

Sigh. Luke Wynn just continues to muck it all up. He says that Alex Smith missed his chance to win the Heisman against BYU. I think someone forgot to inform the Heisman voters on that one.

From Big 12 country, Neil Hohlfeld of the Houston Chronicle has Jason White on top of his list, while Art Wilson of the Pasadena Star News in Pac-10 country says that the award is Leinart’s for the taking.

Collegefootballnews.com has Leinart at the top, followed by White.
