Omaha Press Club Honors Four Heisman Winners

Crack newsman Les Nesman of that great sitcom ‘WKRP IN CINCINNATI’ once lamented: “Omaha! It seems like a dream now!” upon being informed he would not be able to visit the Nebraska city for an awards ceremony.

No doubt, he would be equally remorseful about missing the Omaha Press Club’s honoring of Heisman winners Johnny Rodgers, Mike Rozier, Eric Crouch and the late Nile Kinnick (an Omaha native).

All four will have their caricatures drawn and placed in the club as part of a roast and toast known as the ‘Face on the Barroom Floor.’
