A Little Bit Nutty….

Ever notice that whenever a friend of tells you an outlandish tale, it somehow sounds more plausible if he says at the end of it: “Dude, true story!”?

It doesn’t make it true. But somehow, by saying “true story!”, we are supposed to be convinced.

So it is with Clarence Reece, a former football player at USC whose “true story” is recounted here in ultra-paranoid and rambling fashion.

According to Reece, he was the best receiver on Earth. Or so he told Lynn Swann. Unfortunately, USC–which controls the movies and the media–did him in. So, too, did the NFL. And the CFL. And the courts. Oh, and the U.S. government, I think.

Anyway, check out the story…if you can get through it.

And if you don’t, worry not. According to Reece, his movie will soon be out. Directed by George Lucas, no doubt.
