Bradford’s Hopes

The first article on Sam Bradford’s Heisman hopes is out.

But Bob Stoops isn’t hearing it.

“I’m not going to sit here and compare him to those two guys,” OU coach Bob Stoops said of early comparisons of Bradford to 2003 Heisman winner Jason White and 2000 Heisman runner-up Josh Heupel. “It’s way too early for any of that. I’m not going there.”

Bradford’s numbers have been truly amazing. I am curious to see how long he can keep it up–even the best freshmen hit a wall some point, right?

A fresh face for the Heisman race
