Well, these last few months have been a very trying time here at HP. I decided to take the spring and try to figure out how to refurbish the blog. In short, my old software was no longer supported, so I decided to move over to another server and platform.
Easier said than done, as it turns out. Days turned into weeks which turned into months and so here we are, at last. The way I figure it, the spring was the best time to do it and not a single game was missed.
I am hoping the new style and support will make for a much better user and reader experience. Sadly, all the old comments are gone, so I fully expect my loyal supporters and opposition to populate future posts with all due haste and passion.
Over the next couple weeks, you might see a few more tweaks to the site in the look and feel, but the blogging is back and I’m looking forward to it.
A lot has happened since I last posted. I will be wading back into it starting this weekend–shiny new Phil Steele at my side–with my thoughts on the coming season, a quick recap of the subjects this site has covered over the last few years….and how I foresee this year’s race for the most prestigious award in sports.
Good to be back…HP.

Good to have you back HP!
Great to have you back in action HP! Looking forward to another great season of coverage!
Welcome back!
the redesign looks great!
Great re-design. One thing I think you might consider changing — the center justified text for your posts. It’s a bit hard to read. I think a left-align would work better for readability. Just my two cents. Looking forward to your analysis this upcoming season.
Thanks Seth…I don’t know why that happened, but I finally was able to track down the code that caused it.
Chris,
I’ve looked everywhere for your email address but have not been able to find it. Please send a message to the email I included so we can discuss the possibility of a strategic partnership that would include a free, professional redesign easily in time for football season. Hope to hear from you soon.
