I just got the final votes in for my last Heisman poll of the season. It projects Sam Bradford of Oklahoma to be the winner of the 2008 Heisman Trophy.
It’s going to be a close race and I wouldn’t be shocked if Colt McCoy and Tim Tebow swapped spots.
The Final Heismanpundit.com/Orlando Sentinel Heisman Poll, December 9, 2008 (first place votes in parentheses):
Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma–44 (6)
Tim Tebow, QB, Florida–38 (3)

Graham Harrell, QB, Texas Tech–22
Michael Crabtree, WR, Texas Tech–5
Shonn Greene, RB, Iowa–4
LeSean McCoy, RB, Pittsburgh–1

The SEC has faced 32 non major opponents while sporting a 5-11 record against the major college football opponent they have faced as a conference. ESPN fails to recognize Tebow’s date with the Citadel while including the game in his stats, go figure. Tim
Jenni Carlson of The Oklahoman? Interesting choice. I wonder who she voted for.
Tim Tebow has the worst numbers of just about everybody QB in the top 15(poll). I wish everyone would quit riding his jock. He’s decent at best and wasn’t even in the top 5(numbers wise) in the SEC. The fact that he’s there instead of graham Harrell is almost laughable.
PLEASE PEOPLE STOP MAKING HIM OUT TO BE MORE THAN WHAT HE IS A DECENT QUARTERBACK. I think he’s great but the fact that people are giving him more hype than he deserve overshadows his sub parr career.
Yeah, like poor Colt.
