LSU football player Trindon Holliday won the NCAA 100m title in 10.00 today. He has cemented his place as the fastest college football player of all time.
He’s also the first football player to win the event since Sam Graddy did so for Tennessee in 1984.
His winning time is the fourth-fastest in the world this year.
Jacoby Ford of Clemson was suppposed to be his main challenger, but he apparently pulled up with an injury and hobbled over the finish line to finish 9th.
Another football player, Jeshua Anderson of Washington State, won his second-straight 400m hurdles title today in a blazing 48.47.
