He never won the Heisman, but the late, great Steve McNair did have an amazing third-place finish in 1994 while at Alcorn State.  I thought this was altogether appropriate in remembrance:

  1. Just another good athlete that fails at real life. Don’t wanna hear no BS about how he was a good guy. Role model? Hell no! It is sad that any life end so soon and in such a bad way but his poor choices did him in. Ain’t seen nor had any snatch worth the price he paid. Ego’s run amuck and enabled by those around them adds fuel to the fire. But when someone has his kind of money they can afford to not listen to anyone, huh? Seems this whole country is full of false hero’s and cheaters.
