		<description>Aikman was pretty much neck and neck all year with Peete and Walsh in the Heisman race in &#039;88 until, by late in the season, everyone realized that it had to be Barry Sanders and forgot that the quarterbacks existed. But I agree Aikman is in the hall for his pro career; if not for that he wouldn&#039;t be considered.</description>

Turns out he had the tools, but in college his teams did nothing much.  And wasn&#039;t he a transfer from Oklahoma, where he did less than nothing (in part due to injury)?</description>
