Don't know about AUwoman Mr NoName but I'll ask her...hold on a second...............She says the same thing I do this season. The only thing we lack is depth and that won't be such a big deal if guys stay healthy enough to allow the youngins to get a few reps in early games. Go take a look at who we lost to and the scores from last season. Only one game was a real clunker score wise and even that game was only 10 zip at halftime. We were in every game but didn't add to leads and failed to score late when behind by a TD or less. That won't be the case in 2009. Malzahn's offense will put up more points and our defense will be fine and dandy as usual. I know you hate to hear that but as a now deceased famous news man said, and that's the was it is". Only a few weeks before thingsd star fallin in place. Enjoy the ride...cause I'm sure as hell goin to. Now laugh all you wish but I'll be kicking it up at a great bowl game at seasons end. Hope it's your team we're kickin around.

HP, I don't mean to read too much into this, but you sure you don't have a bone to pick with Kiffin. You know, when both of you worked at USC?

You've been sniping at him an awful lot since he got fired from Oakland. And even if he isn't going to do well, as a Florida fan, I still think he deserves the benefit of the doubt like any other unproven coach.

As much as UT loves him and other league schools can't stand him, we don't know if his methods will translate or not precisely because he has never been a college head coach before.

That pass doesn't, or at least, it shouldn't, give him free reign to act like the transported Hollywood diva his West Coast roots suggest he is. But in the end, even though there's nothing we as fans can really do to slow down the stream (First Amendment rights and the media, you know), he is not making it any easier on himself by saying what he has said. If he can't back it up, the publicity will be a two-edged sword where, instead of focusing on all of the buzz and the hype Kiffin is creating, it will instead be about his failure to live up to it.

That's all I have to say about it.

Only two people are to blame for articles and reactions to Lame Kitty, Lame Kitty himself and the fool that hired him! That west coast BS ain't gonna cut it down south. He looked like a kid from the short bus in the deep end of the pool, in way over his head. Never thought I'd see the day one fella could make both Al Davis and Phat Fillup Fulmer Vol's Coach look like honest guys but he has pulled that feat off in no time flat. Every chance he get's he solitifies that postion of stupidity. This ain't the Pac1 where his Trojans were the only real threat to win yearly. In the SEC there are several teams that can whip your ass if you don't show up with your A game. There are also a few teams that can still make you afternoon a long misearble one even if you do play good football. This conference has the same type depth team wise as the USC team is suppose to have. The Trojans have only one BCS Crystal ball since it's rerturn to PAC 1 dominance while the SEC has two repeat BCS Ring winners for a total of four championships.

Im just thinking aloud here, but do you think it would be cool if you didn't rip on Lane Kiffin every third article. There is literally nothing he said that 99 and 3/3% of the coaches in the country wouldn't say. You had better hope he doesn't go 8-4 or something this season, not that I think he will, because you have put A LOT of eggs in this basket.
