Does Transferring Work Out For Quarterbacks?

Not according to USC quarterback Aaron Corp, who cited Troy Aikman as the only example when stating he would stay at USC instead of taking a transfer:

“I’m just comfortable and historically the guys who transferred (it didn’t work out for), other than Troy Aikman, he’s about the only guy it worked out for.”

Well, just off the top of my head, I can think of a few who it did work out for recently:  How about Jevan Snead (Texas to Ole Miss)?  Or Joe Flacco (Pitt to Deleware)?

Of course what does this say about Mitch Mustain, Corp’s teammate and 3rd stringer, who transfered from Ark to USC.

I think it says that Mustain was really dumb to go to a place with so much depth and talent at quarterback. He should’ve gone to Tulsa, where he probably throws 50 TD passes for Gus Malzahn.
