I have to admit that if I were to make a list of the nation’s most sleep-inducing teams, these two might be on it, but I’m actually looking forward to today’s game for a couple of reasons.
First, I am intrigued to see NC State quarterback Russell Wilson again. I want to see if his freshman year–when he threw for 17 touchdowns and just 1 interception–was a fluke or not. Also, he’s got the longest active streak (249 passes) without a pick and you have to wonder how far he can go (he’ll probably get it out of the way quickly now!).
On the Gamecock side, I want to see if Stephen Garcia is ever going to amount to much. It’s been a while since Spurrier has had a real talent to work with and if he can’t get this guy to be productive, it may be time for him to consider other work.
Enjoy the game!

You nailed this one, a 7-3 snooze-fest in which both teams semmingly tried to both win and lose the game.
Both teams are gonna have to step it up big time to get bowl-eligible.
