Berry is ahead of Rahim Moore because he obviously has much, much more name recognition nationally and is considered by basically everyone in America to be a superior player, albeit it he may have been outplayed by Moore on Saturday. But if the vote were held today, the Heisman voters would cast countless times as many votes for Berry as Moore, simply based on hype.

Why, on your "if the vote were held today" list, is McCoy the winner? He's had two decent games against pathetic opposition. If the season stopped today that would be enough for him to have won the Heisman?
And Eric Berry ahead of UCLA's Rahim Moore in the same list? I dare you to justify that one!

I understand your main Heisman Watch list, so I have no complaints with that, but I don't agree with the second list at all.

I agree with most.... when the love child(ren) of the big 3 graduate, there'll be room for more. Inspite of the facts, those below will just have to wait.

Mostly I'd give you hell about the sophomore thing, but combined with being at OSU I can't complain.

McKnight still has a chance to win the Heisman--though a slim one--if he tears through the rest of the schedule. So that's why he's on the list.

Rodgers just doesn't have a shot as he is a sophomore and from Oregon State.

I think I would have dropped McKnight off the list. He had a few good plays at the end of the game--that's it. What about the Rogers kid from the Beavers? He played well this week. Any shot for him?
