General CFB — 15 September 2009

Back in June of 2006, I wrote this post listing five programs that should be much better than they are.

The five were:  Illinois, Missouri, Arizona State, North Carolina and Houston.

Since then, Illinois has been to the Rose Bowl, Missouri has had a 12-win season, Arizona State has been Pac-10 co-champs, North Carolina has had its first 8-win season in seven years and Houston has had its best three-year run since the late 1980s.

Who knew I could be such a powerful motivator?
