HP no love for Ryan Williams? I feel like Devine is trading on expired credit. RW is 5th in rushing yards, 4th in touchdowns and has played legit defenses. His worst game statistically was against Duke. The Blue Devils loaded 8+ defenders into the box which opened things up for Tyrod Taylor’s 300 yard performance.
Where are the offensive linemen? No respect, I tell you, no respect.
And where are the placekickers and punters? You’re slipping, HP, you’re slipping, brother.
Not slipping at all. Those who read my site know I always pick offensive line units, rather than individuals, since it’s impossible to have an informed opinion on the matter given the nature of the position and the numbers involved.
As for punters and kickers, I never pick them either. Never have. Not interested.
HP, what has Taylor Mays done to get him anywhere close to AA honors? In his one big game this time, his name got called only a handful of times, and one was for misreading a play and being way out of position on OSU’s biggest gain of the night, setting up the first TD. Missed a game with injury, has one INT.
Just an example as someone to take his place, Kurt Coleman from OSU averages more tackles, has 2 picks (including one returned for a TD), 3 forced fumbles, and 2 passes defended.
Mays is getting by on name and athletic ability. People forget to see if he’s actually a good football player…and he looks pretty mediocre. Sean Taylor was a big hitter, but he also had 10 picks his final year at school.
USC as an offensive line unit? Such an overrated group. Did you see the how they got crushed by OSU and Wash?
