(Almost) Heisman Pic of the Day

Purdue’s Leroy Keyes might be one of the best players to almost win a Heisman.

The two way player (RB-CB) finished third in the 1967 balloting behind Gary Beban and O.J. Simpson, but his 278 first-place votes and 1,366 total points were the most ever by a third-place finisher until Tim Tebow surpassed those totals last season.

He also finished second to Simpson in 1968.
