HP – love your site. A couple of additions to the 2010 candidates. Jonathan Dwyer and Josh Nesbitt of Georgia Tech. GT will be a title contender and they both produce some important numbers.

I know the receiver is unlikely to get the award unless he plays special teams, but I think AJ Green may be the best receiver in the mix.

Gilbert Garrett won’t win it of course, but he’ll be starting for a Texas O loaded with pro receivers and a Muschamp D, he should at least be considered.

Sleeper candidate…Mizzou’s Blaine Gabbert. The young Tigers should be much improved and will compete with Nebraska for the Big 12 North title.

Let’s hope Jim Tressel get a new offensive coordinator. That’s the only way Pryor can compete for the Heisman let alone the NC. Otherwise it’ll be the same run off tackle play.

Even though he will only be a sophomore, I think LaMichael James could wind up being a candidate. If not, he will set himself up for a strong Heisman run in his upperclassmen seasons.

Well we can either verify or get rid of 2 of those candidates early next year with a Miami vs OSU showdown in the ’shoe. Two young offenses this year, should be a great game.

Talk around Arkansas is that Mallet could enter draft since he had the red shirt season and is looking so strong the last 3 games. I would love to see what he could do with a little more experience. He has only started 10 games this season and 3 at Michigan 2 years ago. I guess it really will come down to how he finishes the season.
