I like how every post Ingram's yardage total agains Auburn keeps shrinking.

30 yards
22 yards
20 yards
19 yards

You guys are silly (It was 30 BTW on 16 carries. and 21 more receiving)

It is painfully obvious that Suh is head and shoulders above everyone else in college football. Absolute animal.

That Fresbone is right about picking any of the three others who choked the last two weeks. Gerhart works harder than all of them...watch his reel...

Ingram had 19 yards vs. Auburn last week. He doesnt derserve anything. Gerhart would easily have had 200 against the AU bear defense. Acoustialrooz be sure to turn your head so the SEC boy don't shoot it in your eye. You pussy ass chump.

Last note... the Gerhardt versus Ingram debate. Ingram ran against an AU bear defense (look it up if you don't know what that means). Basically he ran against 8 and 9 in the box. Gerhardt has played chump competition all year long. Yeah yeah... they beat USC... guess what - so did everyone else. CASE CLOSED! Ingram deserves it over anyone on that list.

Colt McCoy has shown why he doesn't deserve the heisman and why Texas will lose in the BCS. They faced two solid defenses this year. The first was Oklahoma... who with Sam Bradford would have rolled Texas. Then there was Nebraska... who by their own mistakes allowed Texas to win. If McCoy wins the heisman after showing that he can't handle a decent defense, then the heisman is the biggest sham in the world (although most know that anyway...) and we'd have the proof.

1. Gerhart - In addition to crushing the others statistically, none of the other has meant so much to his team as Gerhart. Furthermore, he has had his best games against the strongest competition. Clearly the best college player of the year.
2. Suh - deserves 2nd place, but as a defender won't get it. He will probably get 1st place in the draft, so no loss for him.
3. Pick any of the three players who choked the last 2 weeks:
Tebow already has one. Seriously, you could have put 10 other quarterbacks in his place this year and Florida would have had 0-1 losses. He looked terrible last night. A pick in the end zone! Balls thrown at his player's feet!
McCoy: 3 Picks last night. Almost gave the game away because of bad clock management in the end, and lucked out by having his kicker win the game for him. In the biggest game of the year, he was at best the 13th best player on his team (behind the defense and the kicker).
Ingram: Great game last night. Over 100 yards rushing, scored 3 TD's. Caught 70 yards. But - he did poorly last game, 64 of his receiving yards came of one catch, and on a comparable national stage (Oregon, USC, Notre Dame), Gerhart would have rushed for 200 yeards! His stats are crushed by Gerhart - 26 touchdowns rushing and 1 TD throwing! Ingram is the 2nd best RB on this list.

Running backs need to score touchdowns. Toby came through with more touchdowns in his last four games (against oregon, usc, cal and nd) then Ingram had the entire regular season.

Why did Ingram disappear when his team need him most? When the other team was expecting him? Toby has 26 TDs because he came through. CASE CLOSED.

There are really only 3 players that deserve this award right now:

Gerhart, Ingram, Suh

Either one could win and I would be happy. If I had a vote, my ballot would read:

1. SUH
2. GERHART
3. INGRAM

Why anyone would still put that disgrace Tebow on their ballot after he cried like a baby is beyond me.

1) Gerhart
2) Suh
3) Spiller

Most years, Gerhart and Igram wouldn't be in the discussion frankly. Adrian Peterson never won a Heisman and he was twice the college back as either of them. What Suh did this year at Nebraska may not be replicated for 20 years. He is the most outstanding player and more deserving than a bunch of "very good" QB's and RB's.
