Heisman Watch 2011 — 14 November 2011
Heisman Ballots Go Out This Week

Ballots from the Heisman Trust to 925 Heisman voters are set to begin arriving in mailboxes this week.  Voters will have until Monday, Dec. 5, to vote via the internet.

In recent years, with the advent on online voting, the vast majority of the votes have been tabulated in the final week, so don’t expect too many minds to be made up just yet.

Also, the votes are in for this week’s straw poll and I’ll give you this tidbit before releasing it officially tomorrow:

Number of ballots (out of 13)

Andrew Luck — 11

Brandon Weeden — 9

Trent Richardson — 8

Case Keenum — 4

As I suspected, Luck’s saturation across the Heisman electorate (as represented by this cross section) is still widespread, though perhaps not as deep or intense as in previous weeks.

Stay tuned.
