RG3 by a huge margin. Then, its Trent followed by Luck. RG3’s stats are just too far ahead of Luck in every single possible category except 3rd down conversion %. Maybe I’d take Trent for his yards if were not for the fact that RG3 accounted for over 4,600 yards and Trent didn’t have half that many or as many TD’s. In fact, Monte Ball will pull some RB votes away from Trent for his TD production, but if you’re gonna give it to the QB there is no comparison of RG to Luck. Luck had a better year last year, had zero Heisman moments, and RG3 was far and away more impressive even in his losses than Luck was in his. But, perhaps the biggest fact of all was that RG had zero help from a D that was 109th in scoring defense and Luck had the benefit of Stanford being 9th FORCING RG to have to win games he should not have. Sorry Palo Alto, but I have no dog in this hunt, and RG3 is Mr. Heisman 2011.
