There are still games to be played. But if I had to guess, we’ll have five finalists in New York to reflect the diversity of this year’s field (Five isn’t a required number; there have been as few as three).

My best guess:

Johnny Manziel

Marqise Lee

Kenjon Barner

Manti Te’o

On the cusp: Ohio State’s Braxton Miller, Oregon’s Marcus Mariota
