Perhaps this has been addressed already, but I was curious whether a Heismendment is really necessary given the fact that Manziel isn’t a true Freshman. He redshirted last year and, as an early enrollee, he’s been on campus for two and a half years.

This will be taken into account after the season. He is certainly the least-freshman freshman you can possibly have winning.
