Got this nifty package in the mail last week.
“Lunch with Lynch” it says in the placard that came with it, courtesy of the Northern Illinois media relations department. They also explain further:
“What does a lunch bag have to do with a Heisman Trophy campaign? Nothing, unless it reminds you to keep up with the exploits of Northern Illinois’ dual-threat quarterback Jordan Lynch throughout the 2013 college football season on JordanLynchFor6.com”
Here’s another look at the lunch bag:
And, probably my favorite piece in the package, a very handy reporter’s notebook:
Job well done by NIU assistant director of media relations Joe Summins to keep Lynch’s name alive heading into the season. Now, it’s up to Lynch to do his thing. If a 3,000/1,500 season last year got him a seventh-place Heisman finish, I think a 3,000/2,000 season will get him to New York. No problem, right?
I’ve added Lynch’s website to our Heisman candidate links. Be sure to check in throughout the season. I know I will.Powered by Sidelines
