So, will Tim Tebow win the Heisman Trophy again? Or will he be unseated by someone like Missouri quarterback Chase Daniel or Ohio State running back Chris “Beanie” Wells?

Heismanpundit.com is partnering with the Orlando Sentinel to distribute a new feature on the Heisman Trophy that will attempt to answer questions like those each week.

The idea of the Heismanpundit.com/Orlando Sentinel Heisman Poll is to get a good sense of voter sentiment across the country as the season progresses. Each member of the voting panel will be asked to vote for five players each week.

Chris Huston, owner of Heismanpundit.com, will coordinate the weekly poll. Huston is a former assistant sports information director at USC who orchestrated the successful Heisman campaigns of quarterbacks Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart.

“The Heisman Trophy is a big part of the pageantry and history that makes college football so popular,” said Tim Stephens, college sports editor of the Orlando Sentinel. “We’re proud to team up with the best Heisman site on the Web to give readers a weekly look at the how the race might unfold.”

Members of the panel include: Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel, Olin Buchanan of Rivals.com, Tom Dienhart of Rivals.com, Bruce Feldman of ESPN.com, Ted Lewis of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Jenni Carlson of The Oklahoman, Austin Murphy of Sports Illustrated, B.J. Schecter of Sports Illustrated, Stewart Mandel of Sports Illustrated and Dick Weiss of the New York Daily News.

Look for the poll each Wednesday, starting Aug. 27 with our preseason poll, on both Web sites and in the Orlando Sentinel.

Tebowheisman Tebow’s trophy. Florida’s Tim Tebow won the Heisman as a sophomore and has a good chance to become only the second repeat winner. Will he lead the Heismanpundit.com/Orlando Sentinel Heisman poll when the preseason edition is released next week?
